Corinne Zmoos, MS, CCC-SLP, CMT

FOUNDER

Corinne Zmoos, MS, CCC-SLP is a musical speech-language pathologist in Baltimore. She is a progressive clinician who embraces whole body, root cause approaches that draw from as many disciplines as possible. She regularly collaborates with occupational, physical, recreation, music, art, and play therapists to develop her perspectives and skillsets.

She received her BA in speech & hearing sciences from the George Washington University and achieved her masters in communication sciences and disorders from Emerson College. Her niches are gestalt language processing, songwriting therapy for executive functioning, and speech-generating devices. 

In 2019, Corinne started Crescendo Communication LLC to provide private musical speech therapy to DMV families in their homes and schools. She is currently a clinical supervisor to a multidisciplinary early intervention team in Washington, D.C., where she coaches and trains therapists about how to deeply and authentically support caregivers to affect major change for their kids.

THE THERAPIST

Corinne started writing songs at nine-years-old and picked up the guitar at the age of 13. She has been a music educator for children and adults since 2015, teaching ukulele, guitar, piano, voice, songwriting, voicework, and breathwork to clients all over the country. Corinne released two homemade albums of original songs and has a couple hundred more she’ll get around to someday.

In 2022, Corinne opened messy happy music lab to offer multidisciplinary enrichment services and musical speech therapy to the colorful and creative kids of charm city. she travels to local daycares and community spaces to lead neuro-inclusive music classes for young kids. 

THE MUSICIAN

Corinne is proud to be a queer, neurodivergent clinician and community member who prioritizes consent, body autonomy, and neurodiversity-affirming practices. When she isn’t in therapist or teacher mode, you can find her diligently learning Farsi, duckpin bowling, being in love with her wonderful partner Millad, and engaging in radical self-care.

Rachel Marshall

BUSINESS MANAGER

Rachel provides virtual assistance and business management to therapists in private practice from all over the country. She specializes in client communication and coordination, organizational management, and the planning and execution of creative projects. Rachel knew she wanted to be part of Crescendo Communication from her first consultation call with Corinne, and is filled with gratitude to facilitate the accessibility of Corinne’s courses, services and expertise. KYRA BENTON

MARKETING MANAGER

Kyra graduated summa cum laude from Adelphi University with a BA in literature and psychology. Upon graduating in 2020, she turned her attention towards a career in virtual support for small businesses and organizations. She specializes in digital marketing, website and graphic design, client communications, social media management, and more. Kyra joined Crescendo Communication in January 2023, eager to be a part of an organization that promotes passion, authenticity, talent, and inclusivity.
